So, it’s a beautiful sunny day, and I have outside decorating to do and loads of gardening, so this will be a quickie.
Loads more work on Tuesday and Wednesday on the Arts Council report for Poetry on Loan! It was finally finished and submitted on Thursday. Phew. I did lots of other PoL stuff on Tuesday, caught up with emails and went to a TADS meeting. Hospital work on Wednesday, and a visit from The Son, and I wrote a new slam poem. I’m going to try it out this evening at an open mic session. I went to see Long shot, which was very funny; most enjoyable.

On Friday I had a long phone call with the wonderful Jonathan Davidson, and discovered he’d written a review of my book Like love in a magazine published last autumn. It was a great review! I did my finances and some gardening and put some stuff on eBay, but I didn’t feel very well.
Over the weekend I manned a water station for the Tewkesbury half-marathon, and mowed my lawns, and not much else, really – so it’s back to work with a vengeance this week. And I really can’t sit here typing this when the sun is shining…
